Characters

New and edited sprites included in the Art Material [2010 ~ 2023] package

With this new change, instead of leaving my material all separated, I will merge it into just one post, which will be the Characters I made of all kinds of themes. Updates to the post will be indicated in its title.

"Long Long Time" ♫

I've had many complications in my life that left me with little time, and over time I began to forget about the blog and stopped pixelating. I only had a few nights and weekends left to work on Pixel Art. I realized that I haven't improved as much compared to previous years when I had more time and didn't have a job. Yes, this year I'm already working part-time in the afternoons because I'm still attending college in the mornings. The course I'm taking has no connection to game graphics and doesn't involve much with the internet, leaving me little time to take care of the blog. Another problem arose this year; my computer is deciding to leave me (":T.T don't go!") after many years of use (if I'm not mistaken, around 7 years). I've already taken it to a technician, but the best option would be to buy a new one, which I'll need for my course eventually. That day will come, so... I hope.

But don't worry, I'll update things here, try to make my work more visible to everyone rather than scattered everywhere, even if it's gradually. I plan to update on the next weekends, maybe I'll change something this one already, but I can't promise anything; it'll be a gradual change.

And remember, the blog's purpose is to gather everything I've done and have stored here, a means to store my scattered things and prevent losing them in case there's any problem with my PC or the sites where I post my work.

Anyway, that's all I needed to say to those who follow the blog, or if you're catching up after so long.

ソザイバコ (Sozaibako)

Author: ロク (Roku)

Returning to the routine of blog recommendations, shall we? This blog mostly features Battlers, not as many as other blogs I've recommended before, but their quality is very good. I believe that even if they aren't suitable for direct use, they can at least inspire someone with a new style or type of Battler. And if you're using an older engine, don't worry, they have resources for both types, RM2000/3 and RMVX/Ace, which can also be used in RMXP.

Avys RPG Maker Stuff

Author: Avery

This time I bring resources for RMXP, many of them are quite old and others more recent. She always keeps updating the topic and works with all types of graphic resources: autotiles, battlers, tilesets, characters, icons, and faces. However, many are additional resources, the kind of material that will add a little extra to the RTP XP collection.

Download Package

Author: DP

I found this site a while ago, and since there were only a few materials, I decided to wait. On this site, the author calls themselves DP, which is the site's acronym. They primarily work with faces, which I found to be well-crafted and clean, more suitable for the chibi charsets of the RTP. However, there are also some battlers and portraits of a character. There aren't many variations yet, but there are plenty of expressions. The latest update was for a recent chef addition to indicate that the author is still active.

Colosseum - Works

This time I didn't come to post a tutorial or material for you guys (it's going to end up being an advertisement), I came to share the work I did for a duel event called Colosseum. Its objective is to duel against various members of the community with completely different and unexpected themes (in my case xD). If you win 20 matches, you get a real prize that hasn't been specified yet. But I couldn't care less about that, I just want to fight! Enough stalling in this post, here are the works I did:

カオスポータル (Chaos Portal)

Author: 水漣 (Suiren)

I had already come across this site and didn't want to post about it because it was just starting at the time. As the number of resources increased, I decided to post about it, and it continues to increase over time. The quality of the faces is good, in my opinion, just like the battlers, and it seems that the author likes ample bosoms. =}

改々工房 (Kaikaikoubou)

Author: 改々工房 (Kaikaikoubou)

Many may remember this site by the name KaiKai. It hadn't updated the site with new battlers since 28/03/12, but it seems that last month it resumed posting. There are plenty of battlers with very good quality that compare to VX battlers, and they come with variations. Due to the downfall of the blog, many images were lost, but it's possible to recover them because the author left a link that leads to an uploader to download their files, although I don't know if they're all there. Also, the last update of this .zip file was in 2012, and the author continued to publish until 2013.

To download, just follow these instructions:
  1. In the first field, enter the password "kaikai";
  2. In the second field, fill out the captcha;
  3. To extract correctly, open the .zip, press Ctrl+E, and change the language to Japanese, now you can extract wherever you want;
  4. To read the .txt files, I use AppLocale, without the need to change the language to Japanese in the settings, it simulates the language for a specific file to open correctly. For example: If I open a Japanese project in RM2003 official, it will change the characters to , however, by right-clicking and using AppLocale to open, RM2003 will read the project normally.

エトリエ (Etolier)

Site Name: エトリエ (Etolier)
Administrators: とりあか&エル (Toriaka & Eru)

A site full of resources in chibi style, useful for children's or comedy projects. It's constantly updated, with the latest being the chibi battlers from RMVX's Materials: Samurai. The resources are varied, some finished and others not, including Faces, Portraits, Battlers, Windowskin, and Others on the Etolier website.

チョコミントの木 (Chokominto no ki)

Author: レンヤ (Ren'ya)

This blog, surprisingly enough, has quite a few characters depicted in various forms. Of course, there aren't many, corresponding faces of the characters and not just faces, but portraits as well, which are the larger faces featured here.

Fire Dream

Author: 火夢(ほむ)/ Hiyume (Homu)

It might be from the old guard, but there are still people using RPG Maker 2000/2003. In this somewhat old blog, there are FaceSet, CharSet, Pictures, and GameOvers of good quality and different styles. The site has plenty of faces, and some of them are based on other blog resources, a collab.
